On January 31, 1938, in broad daylight at 3 PM, God wrote the words "BIBLE MISSION" in the air and showed it Father. Mungamuri Devadas. He obeyed God's word, established his Bible Mission, and confessed that the founder of the mission was Jesus Christ and not himself. The vital message of this Mission to the whole world is that God appears and speaks to all people who dwell at his feet.

Our Mission

At Bible Mission, we wholeheartedly embrace the divine mandate entrusted to us by the Lord. Built upon seven foundational pillars, our mission unites believers across the nations, strengthens the Body of Christ, and prepares the Church for His glorious Second Coming.

Uniting the Global Church in Christ

We are deeply committed to fostering unity among all churches across the world—irrespective of denomination, language, or culture. Our vision is to form one cohesive Body of Christ that transcends man-made boundaries. Just as Christ prayed “that they all may be one” (John 17:21), we labor to see the Church reflect this true oneness of faith, rooted in love and centered in Christ alone.

Proclaiming the Gospel to the Unreached

Obeying the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19–20), we are passionately engaged in taking the Good News to the ends of the earth. Millions still live without hearing the name of Jesus—and our mission is to bridge that gap. With urgency and compassion, we seek to ensure that every soul has the opportunity to experience the life-transforming power of His redeeming love.

Preparing the Church for the Second Coming of Christ

The return of our Lord Jesus Christ is the blessed hope of the Church (Titus 2:13). We believe preparation for this glorious event is essential. Through sound teaching, prophetic insight, discipleship, and holy living, we equip believers to walk in readiness, vigilance, and purity. Our desire is to see the Bride of Christ adorned in holiness, eagerly waiting for the Bridegroom.

Nurturing Intimacy with God

At the heart of spiritual life lies an intimate, personal relationship with God. We encourage believers to seek daily communion with the Lord through prayer, worship, and surrender. This intimacy transforms believers from within, shaping their character and empowering them to live as true witnesses of Christ in the world.

Training Believers to Hear and Commune with the Lord

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27). Our mission is to train believers to recognize and respond to God’s voice in their lives. By cultivating this spiritual discipline, we nurture believers to grow into maturity and prepare the Bride Church from within the Universal Church—a people who walk in obedience, discernment, and constant fellowship with the Lord.

Establishing "DaivaSannidhi Meditation" in Every Home

We envision every home becoming a sanctuary of God’s presence. Daiva-Sannidhi Meditation—a daily waiting hour in the Lord’s presence—is at the heart of this vision. By setting apart dedicated time to wait, listen, and commune with God, families cultivate peace, divine presence, and spiritual strength. We believe that when homes are filled with His presence, societies and nations will be transformed.

Our Vision

At The Bible Mission, our vision is divinely inspired and clear—a calling to manifest the presence of God and to establish sanctuaries where all nations and peoples may experience communion with Him.

“DaivaSannidhi to the World, to Everyone”

Our central vision is to bring Daiva Sannidhi—the abiding presence of God—to every person across the globe. This vision transcends barriers of culture, language, and geography. It is our prayer and pursuit that the presence of God becomes a living reality in the lives of individuals, families, and communities everywhere. By nurturing deep, personal fellowship with the Lord, we believe that hearts will be transformed, families restored, and societies renewed through His love, grace, and power.

Centenary Vision – 2038

As we look ahead to the centenary year of Bible Mission (2038), our God-given vision is to establish "Daiva-Sannidhi Tabernacles" across the world.

These Tabernacles will be sacred spaces where:

  • Believers gather to encounter the living presence of God.
  • Worship ascends as a fragrance of devotion and surrender.
  • Disciples grow in truth, holiness, and faith.
  • Communities find refuge, renewal, and spiritual transformation.

Each Tabernacle will stand as:

  • A Beacon of Hope – shining light into a broken world.
  • A Sanctuary of Peace – where God’s presence brings comfort and healing.
  • A Center of Spiritual Renewal – equipping believers to prepare for Christ’s glorious return.

Our Commitment :

With unwavering faith, we pursue this vision: “Daiva-Sannidhi to the World, to everyone.”

In His presence, we believe the nations will be united, the Church will be strengthened, and the Bride will be made ready for the coming of the Bridegroom.

Our Motto

“Do whatsoever He (Jesus) saith unto you” – John 2:5

“Do whatsoever He (Jesus) saith unto you” – John 2:5

At Bible Mission, our guiding principle is anchored in the timeless words spoken by Mary, the mother of Jesus, at the wedding in Cana (John 2:5). This scripture captures the essence of our faith and ministry—an unwavering commitment to follow every word and direction of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our motto is a way of life. It calls us to:

Listen Intently

We are devoted to hearing the voice of Jesus in every step of our journe . By cultivating a spirit of prayer, meditation, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, we seek His guidance for our lives, our families, and our ministry. This attentive listening forms the foundation of all our actions and decisions.

Obey Faithfully

True discipleship is expressed in faithful obedience. We believe that when Jesus speaks, His words carry life, power, and direction. With unwavering trust in His wisdom, we choose to act upon His instructions—whether great or small—knowing that His will leads us into blessing, purpose, and eternal hope.

Serve Wholeheartedly

Our obedience finds expression in loving service. By serving others with compassion, humility, and dedication, we mirror the heart of Christ. Whether through caring for the needy, supporting communities, or extending kindness, we demonstrate His love in action. Service, for us, is worship lived out in daily life.

This is our calling.

This is our commitment.

“Do whatsoever He (Jesus) saith unto you.”

About Father.M.Devadas Ayyagaru, Founder of The Bible Mission

Father M. Devadas, the founder of 'The Bible Mission”, was a man of God, mightily used in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. A mystic with profound spiritual experiences, Father Devadas left an indelible mark on his followers, who affectionately called him "Father." During his lifetime, he strictly forbade anyone from writing his biography, believing that no one could fully capture the essence of his life. Therefore, this account is a humble attempt to document some of the extraordinary events he experienced in profound communion with GOD.

The word "Deva" means God, and "Das" means servant, that is, God's Servant. He lived a consecrated, unblemished bachelor life in communion with God. Father Devadas's influence extends far beyond the borders of South India, as believers around the world continue to draw inspiration from his life and teachings. His message of God's love and salvation transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, resonating with people of all backgrounds and denominations.

Father Devadas was born to Mungamuri Jonah and Satyavathamma garu in Jegurupadu, a small village in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The long-awaited child of devout evangelist parents, he was named Devadas, meaning 'Servant of God.' From an early age, Devadas exhibited a contemplative nature, preferring meditation and prayer over play. His parents' evangelistic work deeply influenced him, nurturing his spiritual awareness and leading to early experiences of divine friendship.

Devadas received his primary education at a local school in Jegurupadu, where he demonstrated exceptional intelligence and a deep love for nature. His spiritual precocity was evident even at the age of six, when he prayed at a pastors' gathering, asking to emulate Jesus in his youth. This prayer drew the attention and patronage of Lutheran missionaries, who supported his further education at the Nigam Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dhavaleswaram. There, he excelled academically and spiritually, eventually becoming a Higher-Grade teacher.
