Our Statement of Faith

At Bible Mission, we uphold the eternal truths revealed in the Word of God and profess them with reverence and conviction. These beliefs are not merely doctrines but the foundation of our spiritual life and fellowship with the Lord.

1. God's Nature

We believe in one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present God, who created the heavens, the earth, and all life. He is holy, righteous, and loving in His nature, and everything He does is good. God is not the author of evil but of light, life, and blessing. Sin and darkness are the works of Satan and fallen humanity, not of God. He governs the universe with perfect wisdom, and His plans cannot be thwarted.

  • James 1:13 – “When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.”
  • 1 John 1:5 – “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”
  • Job 42:2 – “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”

2. The Trinity

We believe in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though distinct in person and function, they are one in essence and nature. The Father is the source of all creation and salvation, the Son is the Savior who took on human flesh, and the Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Empowerer who dwells within believers. This holy mystery reveals God’s fullness and unity in diversity.

  • Matthew 28:19 – “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
  • 2 Corinthians 13:14 – “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

3. The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit, Scripture reveals God’s will, character, and plan for salvation. It is the foundation for faith, doctrine, and conduct. The Word of God is living and active, transforming lives, exposing sin, and leading believers into righteousness.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
  • Hebrews 4:12 – “The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword...”

4. Salvation by Grace

We believe that humanity, having fallen into sin, is incapable of attaining salvation by works or righteousness of its own. Salvation is purely the gift of God’s grace, received through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not by our efforts, but by the mercy of God, who forgives, redeems, and grants eternal life to all who believe. This salvation brings not only forgiveness of sins but also new birth, renewal by the Holy Spirit, and reconciliation with God.

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...”
  • Titus 3:5 – “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy...”
  • Romans 3:22 – “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”

5. The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Word who became flesh, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, taught with divine authority, performed miracles, was crucified for our sins, and rose again on the third day, conquering death and hell. He ascended to heaven and continues to intercede for believers at the right hand of the Father.

He ascended to heaven, where He intercedes for believers as our High Priest and Advocate. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. Those who belong to Him will be caught up to meet Him, while those who reject Him will face the tribulation, final judgment, and eternal separation from God.

  • John 1:14 – “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us...”
  • Acts 1:11 – “This same Jesus... will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
  • Revelation 20:1-6

6. The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter, Teacher, and Guide promised by Christ. He convicts the world of sin, empowers believers, and bestows spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church. The baptism of the Holy Spirit equips believers for bold witness, victorious living, and deeper communion with God. The Spirit's gifts—such as prophecy, healing, teaching, and discernment—are still active in the Church today.

  • Acts 1:5 – “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
  • Ephesians 4:7-13

7. Divine Healing

We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He continues to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and perform miracles according to His will. Prayer, faith, and anointing in His name bring healing and restoration.

  • Matthew 8:16 – “He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.”
  • James 5:14 – “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church...”

8. Revelation and Guidance

We believe that God still speaks to His people today through His Word, the inner witness of the conscience, and the Holy Spirit. He reveals His will through visions, dreams, prophecy, and divine inspiration, guiding the Church in truth and righteousness.

  • Romans 2:15
  • Acts 2:17 – “Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
  • Hebrews 1:1-2

9. The Church and Its Practices

We believe that the Church is the Body and Bride of Christ, called to holiness, unity, and readiness for His coming. The sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper are sacred symbols of our covenant with Christ. We also uphold the practice of foot washing, as commanded and exemplified by Jesus, as an act of humility and service among believers.

  • John 13:14-15 – “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”
  • Revelation 19:7-9 – “The wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

10. Unity of Believers

We believe that although Christianity is divided into many denominations, all true believers form one Body in Christ. We are united by one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one Spirit, and we are called to live in love and harmony with one another.

  • 1 Corinthians 1:10
  • Ephesians 4:4-6

11. Provision in Christ

We believe that in Christ, God has provided not only salvation but everything necessary for both physical and spiritual life. He meets the needs of His people according to His riches in glory and enables us to live godly lives.

  • 2 Peter 1:3 – “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life...”
  • Philippians 4:19 – “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

12. The Second Coming

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. The signs of the times, including the return of the Jewish people to Israel, indicate that His coming is near. At His return, the dead in Christ will rise, and the living believers will be caught up to meet Him in the air. He will reign for a thousand years, defeat Satan, and establish His eternal kingdom.

  • Luke 21:29-31
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
  • Revelation 20:1-6

13. Life after Death

We believe that after death, God will proclaim His message even to the souls in Hades, so that those who believe may be saved according to His mercy. All humanity will face judgment, but those who belong to Christ will inherit eternal life.

  • 1 Peter 3:19
  • 1 Peter 4:6

14. God's Goodness and Mystery

We believe that God's wisdom and ways are beyond human comprehension. His judgments are unsearchable, His plans perfect, and His purposes eternal. When His works are too great for us to understand, our response must be trust, humility, and worship.

  • Job 42:3 – “I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.”
  • Romans 11:33-34

15. Our Hope

We believe that the Church, as the Bride of Christ, will be gloriously united with Him at His coming. Our blessed hope is to be caught up with the Lord, to reign with Him forever, and to dwell eternally in the presence of God. This hope calls us to live holy lives, eagerly awaiting His return with faith and devotion.

  • Revelation 19:7-9
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:17
